2002 Chevy Astro - Front Heater/Defroster Fan Not Working

When I turn the fan control knob, the fan/blower does not engage. If I change the setting from heat to defrost or AC, you can hear the vacuum switch.
I checked the fuses, they are not blown.
Rear heater/AC still works fine.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
