WallyWorld has silly test lights for $3.96, jumper wire clips with the alligator ends and you might be able to rig up power to the motor but thru a fuse please just to get home. Also - if you do find power there just give the body of the motor a whack with like the plastic end of a screwdriver while it's supposed to be on and it may snap to.
