Can you send information on the removal of an evaporator coil and heater coil.

I own a 97 and will take a hard look and report back if this isn't enough, mine is 3/4 ton gas but I bet they are the same.

Both the Evap and Heater Core are in what I call a heater box. The whole dang thing needs to come out! It's almost always a real pill! Follow the A/C lines and heater hoses and you'll see the box. Get ready with all your 1/4 inch sockets and remove all fasteners, and all the items connected to it, they it should pry off gently as not to break it for access.

Careful of the A/C. It should be empty and refrigerant recycled. There are specific ways to properly get that up and running again. Hit back if you need more info on that. That's WICKED important! Put caps or something over open A/C lines to keep air (contains moisture which is not good for A/C) out of the system as best you can while working on this.
