06 Hyundai Accent-Air Conditioner Compressor Drive Belt??	Sign In

I know that I need a new "AC Belt" as far as I've been told. I have the belt, but it seems like no one is willing to help me install it. I need it done now, I can't drive around in the heat with my car like this. I have an infant son, so It's not an option. I can't afford to have anyone do it for money. I want to try to do it myself. As far as I know, belts are easy to change. The problem is, I have no idea where to start or the process. Can anyone give me a step by step on that? All I need to know is; where I should find where the belt should go (My old belt was completely removed). What I need to remove to get it on there, and any special things I should keep an eye out for/do.

If it threw off or broke your old belt, then you have a lot more problems than just a belt. They don't come off for no reason. There will be something else wrong with the car that caused it.

Ditto: Idler pulley or compressor itself broke the belt most likely - check them all,
