I need to check the rear wiper motor on my 2006 ford explorer (eddie bauer) and not sure how to take the housing apart. It looks like it just snaps together but I don't want to tear some thing up trying. Any help out there? Thanks Barry

Platic cover on the back of the motor just snaps on. You will need to remove the wiper arm and remove the nut on the outside of the glass.. These can be tricky and sometimes have to be cut off if chorrosin is bad enough.. when installing the new motor make sure to tighten the nut to 10Nm (no more).. over torquing the wiper motor could cause back glass to shatter.
