throttle body bogging down/sucking sound

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado.when I press on the gas the the throttle/air intake/goes Whommm whomm,sucking air,,Help

IDK? Is all the air intake duct work in good condition and in place? Anything done to it right before noticing this?

No,just replaced the rack and pinion,tires,and heater core hose but the sound is coming from the (old school talk) carburetor like the butterfly is not opening enough

Did this just happen when that work was done? I know what an un-muffled air intake sounds like and all that duct work along thru air filter is supposed to be in place and thought was given to all that making it quiet by design.
If not running well AND this noise and do look for something silly there should be a code waiting or hard code and you check engine light or warning icon would be lit so get codes and post the #s.
If this just happened right away with the recent work go back,

I would check for a restriction in the exhaust.
