struggling to start

i have an 02 impala that struggles to start...as u attempt to start the engine it sounds like the battery is low on juice but give it 2-3 seconds and it stutters/struggles to start THEN igniton. Ive had the the starter replaced already from previous start up problems and the emission "something"(silver cap at the front of engine). my only guess is that it could be the alternator

And why are you assuming it's not the battery?

I never sais it wasnt the battery but Because we have already charged it overnite n in the morninng it made no diifference

That doesn't mean that the battery is capable of holding a charge and it should be the first component that you have tested.

I had a battery in my truck that had a bad cell, even if it was hooked up to a jump pack it wouldn't crank.
Do as HT said and have the batt tested.
