hi im a sait student and am doing a power steering assignment. i was wondering if i could get some assistance with some questions. THE SAGINAW POWER STEERING GEAR.
- in detail what would occur if the torsion bar were to break?
- what would occur if the sector shaft seals were damaged(be specific about operating temps)?
-what would happen if the retaining ring for the steering gear housing end plug was not fully seated?
- what would occur if the o-ring on the outlet union of the pump was installed in the wrong groove?
any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
