I have a 95 trans port van i just got it and it needed a donut gasket put in so i put one in' now it wants to spuder and kill when i step on it ''what do you think it could be ? someone said it could be the cat.'converter

Does sound like an exhaust restriction. Do a vacuum test on it. If vacuum holds around 17 or so at idle and drops to zero or close to it when you go up to 2500rpm thats a pretty good indication of a clogged up cat.
