metric size heater hose convert to standard size?

I am having problems finding metric sized heater hoses for my 71 240Z. Does anyone know where I can find new hoses? I have tried the standard sizes, and 5/8" is the closest but not a perfect fit. I am trying to match up the old hoses with new ones to fit in a pair of Webber carbs on my Z. Should I just try to buy hoses from the Webber manufacture, or find a euro shop that carries the metric sizes?
Any help will do..........thanks!
