I got it out. Now I have another problem. The tire will not come off!! Maybe the bolts are so rusted that the tire is stuck in the rust/corrosion?

Pound it with a heavy rubber hammer at the outer edged of the wheel and it should start to free up and go back and forth till it's off. Grease the hub so it won't do that again and replacing the stud and nut is different on various cars. Should be doable though, T

Re: lug nut Sign In

Are you just being sarcastic, Or will they only inspect what you mentioned?Wink

Im not trying to hide anything, jusy making the vehicle look a little nicer is all. Im going to be completely honest with the manager tomorrow. Brakes are Sh!t, needs to tires, and so on. Do they take any car as trade-in, even in BAD shape?? Even if its $200-300 trade in value...I dont care. I just want to get rid of it....

Re: lug nut Sign In

Cool
Depends are you buying a new car? If so they will do a lot to make the sale.... you may even be able to pump up their offer on the trade in..... besides it doesn't hurt to ask

say they offer you $300 you could come back saying "Oh... I was really hoping to get $700 towards my new car Today"

they can always say.... buddy this car is a mess we can only do $300.... then you know they have you....

either way.

UNLESS THIS IS YOUR CAR:

Then Take what you can
