loosing battery charge

I have a 1998 mercury mastique 125,000 miles.
My car died, I got a new battery and it went bad, in one day. I traded it in for a new battery again and had the alternator tested. alternator is good. battery is still loosing charge and when you get the rpm's over 2500 rpm's the battery light goes on.
any sugggestions please.

What is the battery voltage at idle with no accessories on?
