Just had to replace mine. It runs parallel with the filler neck. Drive until close to empty then drop the tank to inspect. They are bad about cracking and make sure if you have to replace you get Fuel rated hose. don't use regular heater hose etc. Hope this helps! You don't want this little problem turning into a major nightmare......
