leaking brake line	Sign In

I have a 1994 ford mustang with a 3.8 liter engine. i have notices a leaking brake line but for some reason it does not leak all the time. the spot for this leak is located underneath the radiator it has 2 brake lines that goes beneath it. when i see a puddle about the size of the bottom of a pop can i have reached up to feel the line and it is dry as can be but is brake fluid on the ground. i put new rear brakes,calipers, and rotors and has a mushy pedal i bled it and still seems to leak randomly. the line is always dry up to master cylinder. also on a note the master cylinder has remained full even after having bled the system any help would be awesome cause i want to start driving it again

Brake lines don't leak just sometimes. If you have any leak at all, the pedal will creep down when the pedal is held down. You would be out of fluid in no time.

ok but its brake fluid under the car which happens to be under the radiator to the master cylinder the color of it is like a light brown not oil or anything like that

Have you had to fill the master multiple times?
There are not 2 brake lines going across the front of the car.

Brake fluid is clear , possibly a light grayish black if dirty. Put a metal pan (wifes cookie sheet ?)under the spot. When a puddle has formed in it set out in the sun if coolant it wlll evaporate nearly all the way .If brake fluid it will not . It will wash away with water. If its discolored p/s or atf it will not wash away it will bead upon the water.
