interior gets power but engine will not crank Sign In

I changed the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets on my 2001 mitsubishi montero sport 3.5l. After putting everything back together, the interior gets power but the engine will not crank. I had the battery tested, checked the coils and the plugs, replaced the starter, checked all the connections and the ground wires but am having no luck getting it to start. I can hear the new starter cranking, but the engine will not turn over.

All crank and no start: Is that where this is now?

Gotta find out what's missing. It takes spark, fuel, and compression at the right time. One of those or more is missing to check for which to narrow it down,

It was fine before the repairs rite?
Maybe you forgot a ground wire or a connection of some sort.

Could possibly be your starter. Not sure just saying. I had the same issue in my 91 integra and it ended up being the starter was stuck i knocked on it and started fine
