Sign In I have a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO 3.2L I recently noticed that it was leaking oil. I don't have an opportunity to jack it up right now, but I do have some pictures. I took this picture underneath the belt on the front passenger side of the car. I checked my oil level and it is low (of course since it is leaking) What could be some possible areas to check when searching for the oil leak? Sign In okay yeah that is probably not engine oil, but when I was in the garage there was a few drops of engine oil on the ground. It was dripping from the oil pan, but im not sure where the source was. I'm gonna add some more oil to my car. and keep checking the dip stick. I did get my cv axle replaced like two weeks ago in that area (is that the "broken boot" area that you are talking about?) Sign In If you had the axles replaced then that is probably just grease that didn't get cleaned off.... Once you determine the area the oil is coming from, you just get in there and do a visual inspection....If the area is real bad you may need to clean it off with carb clean or brk clean and then run it to see what is leaking...
