Crazy was womdering if anyone can help me with specifics on how to change the water pump on my 1994 pontiac sunfire le . is there any thing i need to know about the belt or is this just a remove and replace job?? thanks

I again plead guilty on exact know how for the 3.0. Most are just remove the serpentine belt and a couple bolts - clean up the gasket surface. It's probably a standard job. Check anti-freeze a few times as air car screw up a proper level reading. Take care to note the belt and how it's routed if the tag is missing or unreadable.

It's best when putting the water pump back together to check the water pumps gasket, and clean away any junk left behind. This will help make the seal nice and tight. Also like tom mention, after you are finished fill the antifreeze and then run the car then recheck the water level, and leak out any air that built up inside. Good luck.
