I have a 1999 Buick Century and the vent controls will not switch. The heat comes out all the time. I can not get it to switch from heat to defrost to bilevel etc... Doe anyone know what the problem could be?

Re: heat/vent settings Sign In

most of the time if you have vacuum into the controller which is on the right side of your dash and I beleave its the pink line is your source vacuum then your controller is bad but I have also seen your panels fail a few simple voltage tests can be done at your controller while switching zones and that will tell you if the panel is sending a signal to your controller if it is suspect a bad controller they have five solinoids inside which can go bad but first check to see if vacuum is being supplied and give the supply hose a good push to make sure its not a sealing problem hope this helps
