I drive a 1994 GMC Safari. it has 181,000 miles

this problem started just last night. the van will start just fine but while driving it seems to lose power. the lights will dim and the engine shuts off. sometimes it will kick right back on, other times i need to stop and restart it. if you need more details just ask...
