Hi I drive a 1996 Toyota tacoma 2 wheel drive 2.4 liter engine. 238,00 miles on the truck. I have a strong smell of fuel, but have not noticed a leak. I am not a very good mechanic, can the fuel smell get into A/C or vents, from some internal leak? Any helpful hints appreciated. [

If its leaking in the engine compartment the engine heat is likely evaporating it before it can hit the ground and make a puddle. If its big enough to be smelled you need to find some experienced eyes to pinpoint where this is coming from right away and not drive it until fixed or risk a fire.
