fuel pump keeps running Sign In
1990 Ford Ranger 4cyl. The fuel pump keeps running after the engine is shut down, have to remove the battery cable to get it to shut down, so as not to burn the pump up. What might be the problem.

Fuel pump relay might be stuck in the on pos.
