i have to replace the front main on my 99 metro. is there a anything i need to know or can i just pull the front pulley and replay the seal
|

They should all work about the same way. Damper off (puller needed) then the seal is right there. They make some funky tools to get it out but you can carefull use your imagination.
Put some of that gasket shallac which I call Indian head on the outer seal which should be metal and a smear grease on the rubber so it doesn't just burn up the second you start the car. Oil would work too.
Access will be the hard part for this and you may get a shot at it thru the wheel well, T
