I have a 1999 Pontiac grand am se. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the front bumper? I know it comes in one big piece.

Not much into body work, so all I can suggest is to start undoing things until it comes off. You do realize that the dumpers on these are not all one piece, the cosmetic cover may have to come off first and then the reinforcement bar after.

Like Dan - Not much into body work. I will say that I have had to fix some plastic stuff on bumpers that got wrecked by the cement parking lot things and the lower spoiler that gets wrecked by those too. It's a real important item for channeling the wind flow thru your A/C condenser and engine's radiator and not to be ignored.

Best I can say is have a source for the plastic Zip Clips (buttons?) as many don't like working twice. There is a neat tool to help remove them. Useful for door panels and other things too.

It will probably help to have a buddy help you line it up and hold it while you tighten up any bolts that position it where you want. T
