evap monitor question

2003 kia rio 1.7 ltr cant get evap monitor to close so it can be smogged 160 thousand miles i have done the drive cycle plus drove it 100 plus miles but still wont close can you help sincerly rod

Any trouble codes current or pending stored in the engine computer? Was there recent repair work done? Is there atleast a 15-85% fuel level in the tank?
