Why after starting the car does it idle really high. I replaced all the vacuum hoses & no vacuum leaks around the intake. Help! How high and for how long? Almost anything is designed for a higher idle when first started especially when cold then calm down. IAC could be off, dirty or still unfound vacuum leaks or unmetered air intake. Is this issue new? Does it quit this and run well after some time or never very well in your opinion? What does it idle at when it is fully warmed up?
