electrical issue???

I have a 2005 gmc Yukon xl.... We have had several problems with the electrical system. 1st the heated seats quit working, than the air bag light came on, than my husband had to take a fuse out because the front heater fan sparked and blew up so the heater/ac does not blow, than the speedometer and the tach starting acting up til they completely stopped working. Now today I got about 10 miles from home and when I went to stop the traction control kicked in making that god awful noise. There was some loose gravel so I didn't think much until I took off and it bogged down and the noise continued... I shut the truck off right away and made some calls. After restarting the truck it seemed fine as I drove through the parking lot so I pulled out, but the nothing and noise returned but only briefly. I drove back home with no further issues. When I returned home I Sh!t the truck down and it sat aBout 15 mins or so before my husband drove it around the neighborhood. He said when he drove if the noise and bogging continued. Is this all connected??? Could it be all electrical??? Can I buy a computer for it or is this something only the dealership can fix??

Have you owned this since new or buy it used? You would need a high-end scan tool to look into the BCM and the ABS modules code and data menus. A simple codescanner won't do it. Is this truck a swimmer?

We bought it used in 2007. I'm not much of a car guy, so I apologize I'm not sure what u mean by swimmer... Can a place like autozone run those codes or only a dealership? Thanks for any help

You may need to go to a repair shop or the dealer. Autozone probably doesn't have a way to retrieve ABS system codes. They sure don't have the ability to diagnose anything other than guessing, which is usually wrong.
Need to find out why the traction control is activating. As Nick stated, someone is going to have to monitor data from the ABS/TCS system to get an idea where to look for the problem. On traction control vehicles the module will reduce engine power and possibility activate the ABS system to reduce rear wheel spin. One important step in diagnosing unintentional activation of the TCS system is to verify you have the same diameter wheels on the front and rear.
