ok i went out to my truck one day and noticed all my brake fluid leaked out of the rear driverside brake cylinder, i took the tire off and saw the left piston had popped out and was at an angle so the fluid ran out, so i got a new brake cylinder and the next day the same thing happened. anyone know the reason for this problem?

What are the conditions of the brake shoes? Have you had the drums turned? If the shoes have plenty of lining and the drums haven't been turned (resurfaced), you want to start looking at the brake hardware. Check to make sure the parking brake lever is completely at its stop and make sure no springs or pins are broken or missing.

the shoes arent bad, the drums havent been turned, someone else suggested the shoes might not be lined up right.

You may have an issue if the were extremly out of adjustment or totally installed wrong.

This appears more like Ford style with the cable to adjuster but gives you the idea,

They operte the same way though for the most part,
