1.8 L 4 cyl
35000 miles

The interior drivers door handle will not open the door whether the door locks are engaged or not. It seems as if the door is locked, however all of the other doors work fine. The door will open from the outside. Is there a sensor inside the door that may have gone bad?

No, there are no sensors i the door and if it opens from the outside, it's not locked. You'll have to remove the door panel to find the problem. It may have some linkage that came apart of something like that.

Ive had a very similar issue as well... can you let me know if you had any success with taking the door apart. Becuase at the moment i feel like a chauffer with everyone having to sit in the back :)
