door handle not working 2004 Hyundai Tiburon

Hi all. Last week, the outside driver side door handle snapped off in my hand. The inside handle still worked. Yesterday, as I put my driver side window down, there was a sound from inside the door as if something fell off and now the inside handle no longer works. I relaize I am going to have to replace the outside handle. My question is: When I purchase the handle, will it come with the assembly inside the door that opens the door? Does anyone know if that would come with the exterior handle, the interior handle, or if that is a completely separate part? ANy help and/or advice is greatly appreciated!

No, it won't so you will have to remove the door panel and determine the extent of the damage before buying anything.

Of course I read what was posted. If I open up the panel and find that the part (whatever it is called) that makes the handle open the door is damaged and I need to replace it, it would be helpful to know what it is called.

There are many different things that could have happened there. That's why you have to open it and look first.
