What can i do to prevent condensation forming on inside of windows when car has been sitting idle overnight in damp and wet weather?
Having a condensation problem in a car, does that mean the car is damp?

anne; Yes, it is from moisture in the cabin. Window leaking, wet floor mats/carpet, ect. If at all possible, get it into an enclosed area (garage) and put a heater inside the car to dry it out. If this is an older vehicle, you could have a front or rear windshield leaking. Most auto glass shops can repair the seals if they can find the leak. Also, check the trunk...is it wet, too? You can leave all of the windows down on a dry day, but depending on how wet it is inside, may take several attempts. All that moisture inside is very detrimental to your electronics, not to mention asthetics.

anne; Just remembered something else. When we used to moor our boat, I used a product called Dri-Z-Air or something like that. Any RV place should carry it. It is a crystal like product that takes the moisture out of the air. Wonder if it would work on my mother in law? Hmmmmm.

"Damp Rid" is the brand we see around here. I keep a tub in my Vette all the time.
