check trans light on my 1996 honda passport Sign In

On my 1996 honda passport the check trans light is blinking and the check engine light is on. When this happens the car is slow to get into gear if I am at a stop. The lights are not on all the time, when they are off the car runs fine. The transmission shop believes I have a wire shorting out a module. Can someone help me out.

Make sure fluids are full and get a code reading and go from there,

I took it to advanced auto so they could run a codes test. It came up a mass air flow sensor fro my engine light, so I had that replaced. For the trans light blinking, it came up with an output speed sensor, I had that replaced as well. The transmission shop I take it to advised me that I may have a wire shorting out a module, how do I go about finding that out.

If that were the case you should be getting a code that it can't communicate properly. Try a shop for a full code reading and if same codes come up there is a problem to be found that from here I don't know what to suggest except checking connections or obvious wiring issues,
