Risks include: Unable to align properly and chew up tires quickly, tires may rub on sharp turns so are things to think about. Shift of load on bearings may shorten their life? Generally I don't approve of altering OE specifications but it may list an alternative size was available on door jam of some vehicles to help decide. Overall handling of it could be adversely affected. Lots to think about and be sure - dimensions of all when complete or risk having to put it all back. It also totally destroys the ride of the vehicle.
