car wont start

I have a 2003 kia spectra. yesterday everytime I was at a stop light the radio turned off and the lights went dim. Today the car will not start. When I turn the key it just makes a clicking sound. What can it be?

Probably the alternator quit charging or a bad battery drianing it too much. Try a jump and see what the volts and or amperage is. have to start there with those symtoms, T
