Frowni have a 1996 pontiac grand am 6cy.it will turn over and try to crank.it will only stay running as long as you are spraying ether in it.it gets pressure in on the relief valve.you can not hear the fuel pump running.i can not find the reset for the fuel pump.i do not want to pay 250 for a fuel pump if thats not the problem.i just dont think the pump is the problem.

you can't find it because there is no such thing on that car. those are found on Fords only.

you have to have proper fuel pressure.Have to hook up a fuel pressure gauge then go from there to diagnose fuel pump.Like hammer said no reset on this vehicle.

miranda; Check fuel pump fuse and relay. As the others noted, a fuel pressure test would be in order.
