hello. I have a 2000 Saturn L100, 4 cyl with almost 180K miles on it.

I was on the freeway at 70mph, when the car had kind of a "hiccup" jerk and then lost power. The engine was still running and all the battery features like windows and radio were still working, only I didn't have any power or acceleration abilities. The car just started de-celerating. thankfully, I was near an offramp and was able to coast off the freeway into a parking lot. The whole while, the engine was still running, but my power steering was gone and my power brakes were gone and no gas pedal action. when I got into a parking space, I had to shut the engine off. I tried to start it again and it wouldn't come on....it DID try to start, it reved like it wanted to, but wouldn't fully turn on. And again, all the radios, windows and seat adjusting powers were still working. anyone have any clues? thanks :)

I don't know why you think power windows etc. has anything to do with it? You probably jumped valve timing - not good but you might be ok if nothing broke and should check that out before crunch the valves in this engine if an interference engine it's trouble,
