can you mix engine oil

hiya just wondering if i can mix 15w 40 semi synthetic engine oil with 10w40 semi synthetic engine oil in my Mitsubishi delica 1992 l300 diesel engine or will it harm it. Thanks

Sure you can. You'll end up with 12.5W40.
