I have a 1998 chevy blazer which was sitting outside for two years straight without being touched through all types of crazy weather(stupid I know) but earlier this year i finally decided to take it over because it wasn't mine and i had to replace the battery and alternator but a few weeks ago I was driving it for the first time and i kept sliding through stop signs while on the brake until finally I was going down a small hill and the brakes failed emergency brakes and all and now they wont work at all and when i step on the brakes while in park fluid leaks out and the other day i came home to a puddle of fluid in my driveway looks like coolant but not sure any idea on what the problem is?

Sounds like a Brake line(s) blew/rusted at the very least..... Forgive me,but it also sounds like you need to tow this to a competent shop to have the entire brake system inspected/repaired The parking brake is separate from the hydraulic part of the system and if it isnt working, the mechanical part of that system needs to be addressed as well Now you know why car manufacturers do not call the parking brake an emergency brake,'cuz' in an emergency, it may not work There was a case in court that was lost over the terminology
