I have a 94 g20 Chevy van with a 350 tbi
I wondering when I take off the gas tank cap it is alot of air coming out and it sounds like it had suck on the the tank. When I loosen it it has a thump like the tank was sucked together.
Even the flap on the fill neck flaps when loosen fastUnsure

Does it have anything to do with the tbi or the pump cause I was also told something in the tbi is sending to much and sending it back?

No, it would have to be somthing to do with the evap system not venting properly.

That is the canister under the water overflow tank right
would that also stop it from starting?

Not sure where the charcoal canister is located in that era of truck.. I imagine it being a 94 it would be in the engine compartment somewhere.. yes that would definitly cause stalling and no start issues.. if the tank can't vent then the pump keeps trying to suck fuel and no air to diplace it then it will gradually get harder to suck fuel as the suction build..

Well all this crazyness started when I put old gas in it it ran good then sat over night and has been not starring little here and there feint to fire but not constent run or idle and when it does try to fire I have the throttle to the floor.
How can I check if the evap canister is plugged?

I knew this problem sounded too familiar....

Kasper, you need to stick to your original thread. Don't start new threads for the same problem..
