Rover Streetwise 2003, water leak and heater not working. Got new radiator, water pump, engine tested and OK, heater hoses OK, still problems
80000 approx miles done. 1.4 engine.

Alley; If you are losing water, it has to be going somewhere. Have the system pressure tested and re-checked for external leaks. Check the oil to make sure the water isn't going into the engine. Have the engine tested for a leaking head gasket. It is normal for the heater to quit functioning once the coolant level drops. It must be completely full and all air purged from system.
