2001 Chevy Express 5.7 217,000 miles
I have a hard time starting my truck if it sits for a couple of days without me driving it. After I get it started I can turn it off and on 100 times and there is no problem, then there is normally no problem starting it the next day. I have spark and fuel pressure , Also I have had brand new spark plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, camshaft sensor & battery installed new with in less than a month. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Test the fuel pressure using an accurate gauge before you start it for the first time. The pressure is very critical on this vehicle.

You do need to get a fuel pressure reading on this...

One thing you could try that would narrow it down to a fuel problem...

In the morning or when you know it's gonna start hard..... cycle the key from off to on about 4 or 5 times...leaving it in the on position for 2 or 3 seconds each time.....

If it starts right up, you have a fuel problem

I doubt this is going to be a priming problem, likely just low pressure.

Still needs to be tested with a gauge.
