Wiring a radio in a Cavalier Sign In

I have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier, and over the 4 years I have been driving it the original radio was removed and serveral replaced it since. My "friends" that put the stereo, sub, and amp in did back yard hack jobs. I have looked at several wiring diagrams but am still left with questions.

I have all 4 speakers and constant power conected as well as the large thick black anttena. This leaves me with 4 stalk wires a grey, purple, and 2 black; one is a slightly thicker wire. There are also 3 red wires that were installed by friends. First being constant (memory), 2nd has no power (assuming this is ground?), and the third has power when Acc and engine is on (general power to radio). As well as the 3 amp wires; 2 large prongs and the thin wire (also assuming this is ground?)

The Stalk Wires
The purple wire and the 2 black wires have no power to them. One must be the extra anttena wire and one a ground. How do I tell them appart? And what is the extra wire? Why is on slightly thicker?
The grey wire has power when the lights are on, this is the left your lights on reminder. I do not know what to hook that up to make it work once again. (Wires from back of current radio further down)

The After Stalk Wires
The first red wire I already replaced with the original memory wire. The second should be able to be replaced by one of the extra stalk wires, correct? The third wire I believe I have to keep to power the radio since none of the stalk wires have power to them while the car is on or on acc, correct?

The Amp Wires
I know the 2 wires with the prongs plug right into the radio. Is the thin black wire the ground? And do I have to ground it to the car or the radio?

The Wires From the Back of the Radio
There are six wires coming from the back of the radio; extra to all the speaker wires. Black; hooked up to ground, Yellow; hooked up to constant, Red; I don't remember exactly but assuming it was general power. Then there are blue; labeled ant rem max 0.1A, blue with white stripe; labeled amp rem max 0.3A, and light blue; labeled Att. I was told I did not need the 3 blue wires. Is that true?

I hope I included all the information you need, and thank-you so much if you can give me a hand.
