the oil light comes on and I have to turn off the ignition and restart the car. This happens while im stopped in traffic so Im starting to worry now everytime I drive. Its happened about 4 times in the past month...suspiciously right after I spent 700 diollars getting it fixed with tune up, new timing belt and some other things I was told it needed :( I took it back to the mechanic, he did a full scan and finds nothing wrong. The oil was ok too. Anyone have a clue whats going on?
thanks in advance chrysler Neon 2001 LE 170,000 km

Are you saying gas pedal is stuck and won't move? IDK - never ran into it but sounds like a mechanical problem with pedal itself. Scary - if that can do that could it also stick down would worry me. Take a physical look. If this uses a cable that could be messed up - that I've seen. I wouldn't wait to jump on that for the fix whatever it takes,
