He had an Alzheimers moment and left his Focus in reverse (straight drive) and towed it for about three blocks behind his motorhome. Now the engine is completely locked up. He was told by someone that the valves were bent and that is why it is locked up...Seems suspect to me... What do the educated masses have to say? Timing belts and chains with automatic tensioners don't like rotating backwards and stand the chance of loosening up causing them to jump. If they jump enough teeth, the valves crash into the pistons. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
