Unexplained warning light Audi A3 Sign In
Hi
I have an Audi 1.6 petrol A3 57 plate. I was recently on a long journey when a red triangle and Stop flashed up. I pulled over and contacted the RAC who couldn't find anything wrong with the car and the light hasn't reappeared. Before I take it to my garage for a check is there anything I should be aware of. I can't find anything when I google it.

That is basically a generic warning light that comes on for many reasons, some of which are just scheduled maintenance but is usually doesn't flash for that reason.

You really need an enhanced scan tool that specializes in Euro cars that is capable of a deep scan and can also access the maintenance schedule.

Age old idea. Look in the owner's (operator's) manual for the meaning of warning lights (icons) should be in the first few pages,
