Sign In Hello. I have a 2000 Ford Mustang, 6 Cyl. 3.8L. The previous owner had it sitting in a garage for a full year without ever starting it up. I replaced the battery, now the car turns but does not fire up. It was working fine before he parked it in the garage a year ago. What are some troubleshooting steps I should take? What are some of the most common components that will fail after sitting for a full year? Any troubleshooting asistance is very much appreciated.
