Search Auto Parts Search Truck Bogs exactly at 3000RPM Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Car Troubleshooting ZackhuntingtonDahl New User Nov 17, 2011, 7:30 PM Post #1 of 3 (1415 views) Truck Bogs exactly at 3000RPM Sign In So my 1993 Ford Ranger, 4.L V6 has been having troubles since yesterday, i barely made it to the gas station, my car ran out of gas and i had to push it there, i put some gas in it and started it up, i was driving a bit when i started to smell something funny, and the front started to steam, i pulled over immediatly, and let it cool, there was a big oil leak all over. i just changed my oil pressure switch and changed oil and filter, no more leak, and the oil is good. But now everytime i get up to 3000 Rpms, no matter driving or in neutral, it bogs but continues to run great, up untill 3000 rpm.
