Troubles with my 1992 3000GT SL

Started having issues with my car overnight. (Worked fine the day before). The car doesnt want to shift into 3rd gear unless the overdrive is turned off. Never had any shifting issues before. Also, the car will stall in idles UNLESS the AC is on. If Im in idle and turn it off the car will Immediatly stall out. Any thoughts? Thanks.

you need to get the codes pulled and post them here. With those symptoms there will be some

I have no idea how to get the codes. Autozone says they cant scan it. How can I get them? I suspect if I had them I wouldnt even need to ask for help lol

You need a professional scan too for that one. It's OBD1. You will likely have to bring it into a shop.

What makes you think that would have been any different?
GM and Chrysler are easy but Ford still needs the tool.

Have a sable and had a stratus before hand...nothing like this ever happened, ran both to 150k+ miles. Ugh

You can't read a pre-1995 Sable unless you have a very old voltmeter and know how to do it.

Nah sable was 2005, stratus was 1995. Still, had nothing like this happen and I beat the Sh!t out of those cars. I actually took care of this one and it went derp.

Either way, do you have even the slightest of ideas without the codes? Im trying to sell this car, but right now it seems worthless.
