The car is a 2003 dodge intrepid. Is it safe to say that the wheels were realigned incorrectly? If I turn the car left, the steering wheel stays slanted to the left and vice versa. I've had a few bad experiences with this place so I'm very skeptical of them and this latest problem does nothing to help that. Thanks.

I'd definately say something was done wrong, and they probably missed looking for some worn parts before doing the alignment or left some bolts loose. I would take it back and make them fix this properly. I want you to really feel it out when you drive it and if it at all starts acting dangerous immediately stop and call a tow truck. Something is very wrong here.

If you've had multiple bad experiences at the same shop, why did you go back to them again? The definition of insanity is to repeat the same actions over and over expecting different results.

Do you mean that the wheel is simply not springing back on it's own or are you saying that if you make a left turn and then bring the wheels back to straight ahead, the steering wheel remains cocked to the left and it will do the same thing in the opposite direction if you turn right?
