Stuck Sign In

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 liter V8
During a cold snap i had to much water and not enough antifreeze in the system. After driving the radiator blew and it started misfiring. I have installed a new radiator and changed all spark plugs and tested all coils. everything came out good. I put a code reader on the vehicle and codes for cylinder 1, 7, 8, and random misfires showed. I a not sure where to go form here. Would code shows for the crankshaft and cam sensor?

Re: Stuck Sign In

You probably have a blown head gasket or cracked head now. You will need to do a complete compression test and chemical test for HCs in the cooling system.

Re: Stuck Sign In

You said everything came out fine . was it running smooth after repairs . If so have the codes erased with scan tool and see if they come back.

Re: Stuck Sign In

The coils tested fine but it is still misfiring. We have reset the codes twice but they are still coming up. all of this is after replacement of the plugs, and radiator
