I noticed this morning, that the steering wheel lock that adjusts the steering wheel will not lock into place, which is making the steering wheel to go up and down while I am driving. Is this a dangerous situation? Can I still drive the car until it can be fixed? We are all volunteers and we have jobs to go to. So if you don't get an answer right away don't get impatient. If the tilt steering won't lock into a detent and the column is flopping around it will make it a bit of a pain to drive it.
